ISRO is expected to launch the Venus mission dubbed "Shukrayaan" by 2024, a year later than planned.
Russia, France, Sweden, and Germany are collaborating in the mission. Space News reported that an ISRO scientist informed NASA's decadal planning committee of the delay. The target launch date has been pushed to December 2024. The spacecraft will carry several instruments to Venus to study the atmosphere and study the planet while the mission duration is expected to be four years.
