A man assaulted Bindu Ammini; his affiliation with RSS is unknown.Bindu Ammini, a social activist, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons after she tried entering the Sabarimala temple following the 2019 Supreme Court verdict that granted permission for women to enter the temple.

Ammini was recently attacked by a fisherman named Mohandas, a native of Beypore, at Kozhikode beach. A complaint was filed by the Vellayil police, who booked the man under Sections 323 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code. Ammini has alleged that she has been attacked multiple times by the RSS, and they also carried out the recent attack. But police have not confirmed it, and the investigation is still on. So far there is little evidence linking the assailant to the RSS.
