PC Chacko resigned from the Congress party, alleging that internal democracy did not exist in the party.The former MP and working committee member of the Congress (INC), PC Chacko, tendered his resignation to the party chief, saying that Kerala's party members for the April 6 assembly polls are being determined in an 'undemocratic' way. He said that 'groupism' is the biggest bane of congress in Kerala, and he has been continuously arguing with the high command to end it; all his efforts went in vain. He further said that his conscience did not allow him to stay as he did not have any role to play in the party.
