Siddu Paragond, a man, was caught wearing the burqa outside a bank in Sindgi on 11 June 2020. People who were standing in the queue outside the bank reported that the person in the burqa was acting suspiciously. When it was found that it was a man under a burqa, people thrashed him and handed him to the police. The Superintendent of Police Anupam Agrawal said that the Siddu has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody and clarified that no suspicious objects were found on him. While he was caught wearing a burqa, no credible news organization reported that he was hoisting the flag of Pakistan.
