An autistic boy was given a drink mixed with bleach.

Ronnie Phillips was found collapsed after consuming a drink which was allegedly laced with bleach. An investigation is currently ongoing. On Oct. 9, 2020, Ronnie Phillips, an autistic person from Crawley, West Sussex, went out with his 11-year-old brother to meet his older friends. Ronnie was allegedly given a drink, and taking a few sips, he collapsed. The drink which he consumed was believed to have possibly been laced with bleach. The police are currently investigating the events that took place on the night when Ronnie collapsed and are currently awaiting the results of tests to determine what may have caused the boy to collapse.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the boy was taken to hospital in a serious condition, and he is currently in a stable condition. A fundraiser has also been set up for Ronnie.
