Boris Johnson goes on the journey to trace his family history. As a result, he confirms that his great (x8) grandfather is George II.

The press release published by BBC on 4 August 2008 refers to the Who Do You Think You Are episode and states that Boris Johnson acknowledges that he is distantly related to a German king and the British royal family.
