It is extended in Bihar till August 16, 2020, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. Private and government offices in the state would have 50% of their staff working as per the new restriction rules from August 1, 2020.

Air and railway services will continue, but public transport will be off the road except for taxis and autorickshaws. Restaurants would not be permitted to operate, except for takeaway and home deliveries. Chemist shops, grocery shops, and other essential services would be allowed to function.
