President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter that he would not tolerate protestors at his rally in Tusla, Oklahoma.Donald Trump's rally was organized in the city of Tulsa at the BOK Center in Oklahoma on June 20, 2020. The city Mayor's order revealed that a large protest had been planned against racial injustice in the City of Tulsa for purposes of causing unrest in and around Trump's rally. It also coincided with a two-day local celebration of Juneteenth. Given this, President Donald Trump tweeted that protestors will not be treated like they were in cities of New York, Seattle, or Minneapolis. He further said it would be a much different scene for protesters if they violate the rules. However, he did not specify what actions he was referring to.
The Tusla Mayor G.T.Bynum had imposed a curfew via executive order before and after the President's rally in the city's BOK Center and the Convention Centre. He further said that he had received inputs from the Tusla Police Department that out of state actors were planning on traveling to Tusla to disrupt the rally and necessary measures had been taken to keep the situation under control.
