During the Vice Presidential debate, Senator Kamala Harris claimed that seven members of President George W. Bush’s cabinet support the Biden-Harris ticket. Hundreds of officials who worked for former Republican President George W. Bush are set to endorse Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, reported Reuters in July. The officials, who include Cabinet secretaries and other senior people in the Bush administration, had reportedly formed a political action committee - 43 Alumni for Biden - to support the former vice president. Several Republicans have supported Biden so far, including Colin Powell, Bush’s former secretary of State, who appeared at the Democratic convention. Former Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.) and dozens of other former GOP members of Congress also announced they would back Biden.
