Vaccines have undergone thorough clinical trials and pose no danger. This claim is not based on any scientific evidence. The Expose, a conspiracy website known for spreading misinformation, shared a video of Dr. Vernon Coleman where he claims that people vaccinated against COVID-19 "will be lucky if they live for five years." The Expose shares this video with the caption 'Dr. Vernon Coleman explains why most of the COVID-19 Vaccinated will die early.' This claim is false and not backed by any clinical study. Coleman is an outspoken critic of COVID-19 vaccines and partakes in spreading misinformation regarding the pandemic. Earlier, he made similar false claims, including spreading the narrative that COVID-19 is being used as a bioweapon to depopulate the world. He is also a known promoter of conspiracy theories on Agenda 21 and The Great Reset. He has a website dedicated to spreading misinformation. YouTube and other social media platforms have flagged and taken down several posts and videos by Coleman. There have been many instances where misinformation was shared on social media claiming that people vaccinated against COVID-19 will die in two years and that vaccination against COVID-19 will reduce the global population in half. None of these claims were clinically supported. In the video, Coleman has not provided any scientific evidence to prove his point. Instead, he said that anyone receiving these vaccines should be declared suicidal or certified insane. WHO has certified that approved COVID-19 vaccines are safe to administer and that vaccines have undergone extensive trials before getting the green light. In the U.S., the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) noted that the number of deaths due to COVID-19 vaccines' adverse effects is less than 0.007 percent. Additionally, Expose has a history of publishing misinformation about COVID-19 and vaccines. Several reports published on the website have been debunked as they were baseless and not backed by scientific evidence. Logically has previously exposed the actors behind this misinformation website focused on the U.K. Furthermore, no studies suggest that people's immunity will reduce after vaccination against COVID-19 or that people will not survive beyond five years after vaccination. All such claims are meant to derail the global vaccination drive against COVID-19 and are propagated by anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists.
