The viral video features a plant with onion-shaped bulbs that makes unrealistic mechanical sounds while puffing out pollen into the air. The video caption says it's a plant called Oodhu Paavai, a medicinal herb found in Tamil Nadu, India. No such plant, medicinal or otherwise, was identified when researched online. However, the original video, "Jungle Pipes," can be found on U.K.-based graphic artist Luke Penry's social media accounts. He has clarified in a tweet that his computer-generated imagery (CGI) art had been mistaken to be an actual plant. On Instagram, Luke Penry's bio states that he is a "3D/Motion Generalist" and an "Abstract Nature Artist." He has credited the CGI video's audio to a Bristol-based audio post-production studio named Flank Audio.
