Articles by the Digi Statement and Guru Gammer confirm that Tencent company suspended the PUBG mobile servers.Digi Statement in its news dated 4 April 2020 has said that Tencent Games had sent out a post on Chinese social media Weibo, announcing the shutdown of the server to honour those who lost their lives to Coronavirus. Further, it mentions that Tencent Games will be suspended for one day from 4 April 2020, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions.

Similarly, Guru Gammer also states that Tencent Games has announced that this is a global server shutdown and PUBG Mobile will not be accessible starting from midnight on 4 April, to honour the sacrifice of medical workers and others in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in China.
