Whitehouse remarks and Xinhuanet confirm that Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a call in which they discussed on COVID-19 in detail.Trump mentioned that he had a conversation with Xi Jinping during which they discussed the experiences faced by China during the COVID-19 outbreak. He said the Chinese president agreed to share data on coronavirus with the U.S. and the same has been shared with U.S. scientists.

The same was confirmed by Xinhuanet, which reported that the Chinese president said that China had shared the details about the experience of COVID-19 prevention, its containment, and treatment with other countries as well as WHO. He stressed that the health departments and medical experts of the two countries have maintained communication over the pandemic situation and willing to share all relevant information with the U.S.

China Central Television (CCTV) also tweeted that the Chinese president agreed to work together with all parties, including the U.S on fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic during a phone call with U.S. president on 27 March 2020.
