The Delhi Metro resumed its services from September 7, 2020, and its operations had remained suspended due to the pandemic since March 22, 2020. The Home Ministry had announced guidelines allowing metro services in the country to resume its operations in a classified manner, following which the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had said it would be done in three stages from September 7-12. After being suspended for over five months following the COVID-19 lockdown, the Delhi Metro trains have resumed operating from September 7 with protective measures against the COVID-19. Only asymptomatic people may board trains, and stations at containment zones will have remained closed. The services are reopened with strict safety and social distancing measures in the place.
The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
