A 3km horse train track from Buchiana to Gangapur was built by the philanthropist and engineer Ganga Ram, but is currently not functional. Sir Ganga Ram established the famous horse train from Gangapur to Bachiana. He was an Indian civil engineer and architect born in Mangtanwalla, near Lahore, in 1851. A well-known Hindu philanthropist, Ganga Ram set up the narrow gauge three-kilometer railway track for transporting people and machinery in 1903 in Chak 591-GB that served the villagers. The facility was suspended in 1993 when the track was stolen. The train could carry 15 people for a single journey. The track was reopened in 2010, but it was suspended again in 2014 due to wear and tear. It continues to be a popular tourist attraction.
