Russian opposition leader Alexie Navalny is battling for his life after a suspected poisoning and is on ventilator support in a coma.
Mr. Navalny's press secretary Kira Yarmysh has appealed to the hospital to allow access to all necessary documents to move him abroad.
But the hospital has refused to allow access to anyone as Navalny is in a very critical condition and has recommended against moving him.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov released a statement wishing a speedy recovery to Mr. Navlny and said that the Kremlin would make arrangements for him to move abroad if needed.
French President Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel released a joint statement and offered to provide medical assistance for Alexie Navalny in either Germany or France. According to the latest reports, a plane has already departed for Siberia to transport Mr. Navalny to Germany.
