Florida police raided former Data Scientist Rebekah Jones's house following a complaint related to the Health Department website's computer hack.Rebekah Jones was fired from her position in the Florida Health Department for allegedly making public remarks about the COVID-19 data. She was in charge of Florida's COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard and was credited for building and managing the user-friendly website.

The enforcement officers raided Rebeka's house after issuing a warrant and seized several devices. The Florida Department of law enforcement said the raid was conducted following a Health department's complaint that a person illegally hacked into their emergency alert systems.

Rebekah posted the video of the raid scene on her social media and accused that Governor Ron DeSantis was behind all these. She said they pressured her to manipulate the COVID-19 data to support the reopening plan, which she did not comply with.

However, DeSantis retorted that she has a criminal background and had a pattern of “insubordination.”
