He also informed that he and other survivors of the accident were few meters away from the track consequently able to save themselves from the accident.

The Superintendent of Police Mokshada Patil, who had a conversation with survivors, reported that three survivors tried to wake up the others by frantically shouting. The survivors were identified as Dhirendra Singh, Virendrasingh Gaur and Shivman Singh Gaur and the injured Sajjan Singh.
