The Los Angeles County Sheriff's department is force-vaccinating people with special needs.

The video of the LAPD medics administering vaccines by force is a misrepresentation as the recipients were vaccinated with their consent.

The video of the LAPD medics administering vaccines by force is a misrepresentation as the recipients were vaccinated with their consent.Following the COVID -19 vaccine rollout, anti-vaxxers are busy spreading rumors by posting videos on social media saying that people with disabilities are forcefully vaccinated without their consent. It is claimed that frail people are deliberately administered mRNA vaccines by members of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. However, the allegations made in the video are false.

We found the original video, which shows that the LA's Sheriff department officers were part of a campaign called 'Operation Homebound' to vaccinate people with disabilities. The program's goal is to vaccinate people whose family members or legal guardians accepted vaccinations offered through the program that seeks to vaccinate at-risk populations. As part of the operation, a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was administered, not mRNA, as claimed in the viral reports. We can also see that people were happy after getting the vaccine, and the paramedics were appreciated for their job.

We mark the claim as false as the viral video is a compilation of extracts chosen to mislead a community service initiative as forced vaccination.
