The Supreme Court of the United States has allowed Wisconsin to throw away absentee ballots of the presidential primary elections as a gift to the Republicans.

The Supreme Court of the United States ordered to cancel the postal votes and to consider only the votes of people who had been to the polling booths.

The Supreme Court of the United States ordered to cancel the postal votes and to consider only the votes of people who had been to the polling booths. The United States Supreme Court denied the order for extending the time limit of postal voting and cancelled the voting through absentee ballots in the situation of COVID-19 outbreak. The Supreme Court added that either the voters should come to the polling booth to vote or they would lose their right to vote even though it is not their fault. It also mentioned that according to this order of Wisconsin district court, the people could vote via absentee ballots and could return their ballots within next week (up to 13 April 2020).

Moreover, the Supreme Court pointed out that the constitutional rights of Wisconsin’s citizens, the integrity of the State’s election process, and the health of the Nation has equal importance.

However, whether or not this order is a gift to the Republicans cannot be objectively verified as it is an opinion-based statement.
