Former Bihar MP Pappu Yadav has requested Home Minister Amit Shah for CBI inquiry over Rajput's death and also shared Shah's response to his letter. On Yadav's request, Amit Shah has forwarded Yadav's concerns to the ministry.

Amit Shah has only forwarded Yadav's request to the concerned ministry, but he has not ordered the CBI to investigate the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have been investigating the death of Sushant Sigh Rajput. A total of 30 people have recorded their statements in the case.
