
The Karnataka state government has revised its lockdown guidelines allowing home delivery of only essential items through E-commerce.
The lockdown guidelines announced on May 7 permitted e-commerce to carry out home deliveries of all the items. However, the revised guidelines issued on May 10 noted that e-commerce services could deliver only essential items throughout the state. It also allowed other essential services like Telecom, banks, Insurance companies, PSU's and other government establishments to function with 50 percent staff.
