President Trump cut short an interview with CBS reporter Lesley Stahl and later accused her of unfair questioning. Following the interview, reports surfaced suggesting that Lesley Stahl receive death threats following her interview with President Donald Trump. CBS reportedly hired 24-hour security detail for Stahl after one of her immediate family members on the West Coast was targeted. This news was reported by TMZ. The security will escort Stahl and her family whenever they are out in public.

The threatening phone call was reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. The caller, reportedly, aimed the threat at the television host and her family, and mentioned something pertaining to "neo-Nazis." Police are reported to have opened an investigation into the death threat. The call came in two days after the 60-minute interview was shot.
