A teaching assistant at the University of Georgia recently explained that white people are going to have to die “for blacks to be made whole.”

According to WBS-TV, Irami Osei-Frimpong, a teaching assistant at University of Georgia, has been reported to have posted such comments on Facebook.

According to WBS-TV, Irami Osei-Frimpong, a teaching assistant at University of Georgia, has been reported to have posted such comments on Facebook.The WBS-TV article states that Irami Osei-Frimpong wrote in a Facebook post that some white people might have to die to make black communities whole. Additionally, Frimpong has also written in another post that he thinks fighting white people is a skill. Frimpong later clarified that he did not advocate violence, but merely commented on the honest process of racial justice. According to an article by Inside Higher Ed, Frimpong hasn't been fired from his position at the University of Georgia (UGA), but the University has expressed its condemnation. The article notes that UGA is exploring legal options regarding his provocative comments.
