A Junior Commissioned Officer of the Indian army was killed in Pakistani firing on forwarding posts along the LoC in Rajouri district of J&K.There have been frequent clashes between Indian and Pakistani troops along the LoC since the abrogation of article 370. Rajesh Kumar, a JCO from Punjab, was martyred in the fire exchange between Indian and Pakistani armies along the Line of Control in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on September 1, 2020. His wife and two children survive the slain Subedar Rajesh Kumar (42), of 60 SATA Regiment. The army official told that the Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire and opened fire at the forward posts in the Keri sector, drawing retaliation from the Indian Army.
