Don Lemon from CNN involved in the sale of CBD.

There is no evidence to prove that the CNN Anchor Don Lemon has been involved with the sale of Cannabidiol (CBD).

There is no evidence to prove that the CNN Anchor Don Lemon has been involved with the sale of Cannabidiol (CBD).According to the U.S Food and Drug (FDA), the Cannabis plant produces over 80 biologically active chemical compounds, and the most common ones are delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). It is currently illegal to sell CBD as a dietary product in the market.

FDA approves only one product of CBD as a drug for treating two rare forms of epilepsy. In June 2018, it had announced the approval of Epidiolex, the seizure drug. It contains CBD extract from the cannabis plant.

Though CNN News anchor Don Lemon had sparked a controversy in 2014, while he was describing a scene from outside the Ferguson police station, just moments after the announcement that police officer Darren Wilson will not be charged for killing unarmed teenager Michael Brown. In a conversation with his fellow anchor Anderson Cooper, Lemon reported hearing the gunfire sounds and seeing protesters jumping on cars. And then he said: “Obviously, there is the smell of marijuana in the air.”

However, there is no such evidence proving that he was involved in the sale of CBD.
