BJP's youth wing leader Pamela Goswami was arrested with 100 grams of cocaine.

Pamela Goswami and another leader of BJP's youth wing was arrested under the NDPS Act for having 100 grams of cocaine in her possession.Two leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) youth wing, including Pamela Goswami, were arrested with 100 grams of cocaine in Kolkata. According to Kolkata police, she was booked for possessing a contraband item. Police said they acted on a tip-off and intercepted Goswami's car in the New Alipore area and found around 100 gms of the cocaine in plastic pouches inside her handbag. Further, police said they suspect her to be involved in drug trafficking and are investigating the matter further.

However, BJP expressed doubts and said the state police had purposefully done it to frame Goswami. More details on the arrest are awaited.
