Disha Ravi’s full name is Disha Annappa Ravi and she belongs to a Hindu family.Disha Ravi, a climate activist, was arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police from Bangalore in the toolkit case. In light of her arrest, a post is circulating on social media claiming that Ravi’s full name is Disha Ravi Joseph, and she is a Syrian Christian from Kerala. We accessed her details using the publicly available information on the National Voters Service Portal. It shows that her full name is Disha A Ravi and her father's name is Ravi Annappa who is from Banglore. Furthermore, the News Minute report quoted her lawyer and a close friend saying that her full name is Disha Annappa Ravi and clarified that she is a Hindu. Mount Carmel College’s annual day report of 2018 also mentions her name as Disha A Ravi. She studied BBA and is an alumnus of the college. Thus, it is clear that she has no connection with Kerala, and she belongs to a Hindu family.
