VIP pass and flight had been arranged for the guests. Two hundred sixty-three rooms at the hotel have been sold out since Jan. 2020. It was not clear whether the president would attend the festivities at the hotel. On Oct. 30, 2020, Trump said he has not decided where he would be to spend the evening.
However, President Trump reportedly called off plans to host an election night event at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. According to the New York Times.
