An E-mail of SpaceX to its employees which was accessed by Reuters and a message to its users by Zoom through its official blog supports the claim.In E-mail dated 28 March 2020, SpaceX company informed that the accessibility of Zoom video conferencing app is terminated because of privacy and security issues and requested its employees to use email, text or phone as alternate means of communication. Further, Reuters article states that the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Boston office on 30 March 2020 issued a warning as two unidentified individuals invaded in the live school session on Zoom app.
Eric S. Yuan, Founder and CEO of Zoom in the official blog apologised for security issues and said that it would be fixed as soon as possible which proves that significant security and privacy concerns exist in the Zoom app.
