Donald Trump was seen without a mask as he returned to the White House and posed mask-free for a photo-op on the White House balcony.US President Donald Trump returned to the White House after spending three days at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he received treatment for COVID-19. He entered the White House from his Marine One helicopter wearing a white surgical mask; he immediately removed his mask and gave a thumbs up from the White House terrace and announced that he felt good. He also claimed that he faced the coronavirus because he "had to" as a "leader," reported by the CNN.

This was viewed as flouting the rules set by his own administration which has encouraged Americans to be very careful and take precautions to avoid contracting and spreading the disease.

So far more than a dozen of his aides have tested positive for the virus, including his wife, senior adviser, personal assistant, campaign manager, two debate prep advisers, party chairwoman and three Republican senators.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
