A meeting was held on July 25 in Himachal Pradesh's Una district to finalize staking claims on setting up bulk drugs and pharmaceutical parks in the Haroli segment. DC Sandeep Kumar said that about 1,100 acres of land are available in Poli, Maluwal, and Tibbis in District Una, which may be suitable for building a Pharma Park, where the land is barren with no need for the clearance of the forest department and the population.

Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation's vice-chairman Ram Kumar said that there is an availability of gas and electricity, which reduces the 20 percent of the cost of drug park in Una compared to Baddi. Further, ₹24 crores are approved for upgrading the Una-Jazon road, and the land will be transferred to the Department of Industries to make it a Drug Pharma Park.
