While LEGO holds the Guinness World Records for producing the most tires for kids' toys, the top tire manufacturer in the world is Michelin.According to the Guinness Book of World Record, LEGO makes about 306 million rubber tires each year for its construction kit toys. The LEGO Group made it into the records as it manufactured 381 million tires in 2010, beating all other toy tire manufacturers.

According to the 2020 Brand Finance report, Michelin has passed Bridgestone to become the world's most valuable tire brand following 30% brand value growth that generated $7.9 billion over the year of 2019. As of 2019, Bridgestone was the world's largest tire manufacturer, followed by Michelin (France), Goodyear (United States), Continental (Germany), and Sumitomo (Japan).
