NSUI wants to collect donations from students in Rajasthan for Ram Mandir .

NSUI clarified that the collection drive was a symbolic protest to expose the loot by RSS and BJP from people in the name of Ram Mandir.

NSUI clarified that the collection drive was a symbolic protest to expose the loot by RSS and BJP from people in the name of Ram Mandir. Several media outlets reported that the Congress party's student wing, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) launched a campaign in Rajasthan to collect donations from the students for the Ram temple construction in Ayodhya.

However, Neeraj Kundan, president of the (NSUI) dismissed the claims and said they are not running any national campaign to collect any Ram Mandir donation. He further stated that the campaign was organized to expose the RSS and BJP party's loot over Ram Mandir construction and criticized BJP for looting people's money in Ram's name. "The NSUI Rajasthan campaign was a symbolic protest to expose the organized loot by the RSS and the BJP in the name of Ram Mandir", he claimed.

Meanwhile, the Economic Times reported that Congress national treasurer, Pawan Bansal, claimed that he was not aware of any such move by the NSUI. NSUI spokesperson Ramesh Bhati stated that "The ABVP and the BJP have been looting people in the name of contribution for the Ram Mandir".
