Georgia school district reported that more than 11 students tested positive for COVID-19.Students in Cherokee County, Georgia, returned to school on August 3. The school district monitors the state of public health in the schools and reports on its webpage the updated total number of COVID-19 positive cases at CCSD schools.

In a letter posted on its website, the CCSD reported that 19 students and other staff members, including teachers across the elementary, middle, and high schools, tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, many students and teachers have been asked to quarantine at their home. However, the students will receive instructions online.
