There is insufficient evidence to verify whether actress Deepika Padukone was paid Rs 5 crores by a Pakistani businessman for her JNU visit.
On January 7, 2020, Deepika had a visit to the JNU campus. She and one of Chhapaak movie co-producers were seen standing at the university’s Sabarmati T-point with the students in a show of solidarity, who were protesting against a spate of violent incidents that had taken place on the campus. Her film Chhapaak, in which she played the role of an acid attack survivor, was released on January 10. Her visit to JNU has created turmoil in the social media.
Recently Swara Bhaskar, an actress, has rubbished the allegations against Deepika has received money to visit JNU as idiotic misinformation. However, there are no official or intelligence reports regarding this matter, and Deepika Padukone has not issued any statements on the allegations made by NK Sood.
