On March 24, 2020, 11 foreign nationals were apprehended from the Rargaon Mosque in the Tamar area of ​​Ranchi, amid the threat of COVID-19 infection. After seizing their passports and visas, authorities quarantined them at the Musabani Police Training Centre. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
