Seven European Union countries have approved the Indian-made Covishield vaccine to travel within the EU zone.
India had warned that it would also not recognize the EU vaccine pass if the bloc did not approve Covishield.
Amid this, sources have confirmed that more than seven EU countries have approved the Covishield vaccine, including Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, and Spain. Estonia and Switzerland have also cleared Covishield for travelers. The green travel pass is recognized by individual states and not by the EU.
