He also requested the public not to crowd any places, maintain social distance and asked them to follow the instructions given by the government and take necessary precautions to stay safe.

Maharashtra ranks highest among the Indian states affected by a coronavirus and alone constitutes 32 percent of the total number of cases. It has been reported 1,13,445 confirmed cases and 5,537 deaths along with 57,851 recoveries as of June 17, 2020.
