India handed over COVID-19 test kits to Nepal in May 2020 to fight the COVID-19 crisis.On April 22, 2020, India had gifted 23 tonnes of medicines to the Government of Nepal. On May 17, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Indian Ambassador, on behalf of the Government of India, handed over Pathodetect COVID-19 Qualitative RT PCR Test Kits to Health and Population Minister of Government of Nepal. Mylab in Pune, India, manufactured these kits. It can help Nepali health professionals to conduct PCR tests on 30,000 people.
