The door-to-door campaign starts on February 1and will end on February 27. Bharatiya Janta Party MP Manoj Tiwari is set to undertake a donation drive starting February 1, 2021, to construct the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

According to an article by the Times of India, Tiwari will launch a Rath Yatra in his parliamentary constituency- North East Delhi and would go door-to-door to collect funds. The report further states that Tiwari hopes that a good amount of money will be collected with public support. Tiwari has urged everyone to contribute to the “epochal development.” The donation drive would end on February 27.

The Hindu states that Tiwari got a bus designed for the campaign, which would carry him along with other party workers to different areas, including the minority areas of North-East Delhi, which were hit by riots last year. The 9-seater bus would have pictures of Lord Ram, PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, party Chief Nadda, and the temple.

“The money collected through funds would then be handed over to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, which has been mandated to collect funds for the construction of the temple,” TOI quoted BJP functionary Neelkant Bakshi.
