A senior bank employee said that the bank's main office in Thane shut after seven of the 25 staff tested positive. A cash officer at the clearing department tested positive, in the northwestern Mumbai suburb of Jogeshwari.

SBI added that a team lead by a general manager is continuously monitoring the situation in the entire country and following protocol in case of any infection.
