There is no scientific evidence yet that suggests a direct impact of breast implants on the lifespan of women.Breast implants are pockets of liquid that are placed inside a breast to increase its size or adjust its appearance. There are two main kinds, containing either saline (saltwater) or silicone, a squishy gel. According to the FDA, breast Implants are not considered lifetime devices. The longer people have them, the greater the chances are that they will develop complications, some of which will require more surgery.

While breast implants have improved over time with decades of research and pose few health risks, studies on breast implant illness isn't yet conclusive according to Harvard Health Publishing. There is no scientific evidence yet to suggest whether breast implants can directly or indirectly have an impact on the lifespans of women who get it.
