Tweets by Donald Trump and Narendra Modi refutes the claim that India got unrestricted access to the USA market for its pharma companies.

Tweets by Donald Trump and Narendra Modi refutes the claim that India got unrestricted access to the USA market for its pharma companies.President Donald Trump had posted on Twitter a day after the Indian Government decided to relax the ban it had earlier imposed on the export of the drug Hydroxychloroquine in which he thanked India and Indian people for the decision on sending HCQ. Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to Trump stating that India would do whatever it could to contribute to the efforts to contain the pandemic.

Further to this, we found claims have been circulating online stating that India's demand for unrestricted access to the U.S. market was accepted within 24 hours. However, we did not find any credible or verified source to confirm that India had made specific demands to the U.S in exchange for anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine.
