There is no evidence confirming the allegations made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Alexei Anatolievich Navalny. On August 20, 2020, Alexei Anatolievich Navalny was hospitalized from a Tomsk-Moscow plane that made an emergency landing in Omsk. He received treatment in the Charite hospital in Berlin, Germany. Doctors in Charite hospital said that Navalny had been poisoned with a deadly nerve agent before being discharged in September. On September 14, 2020, three independent laboratories confirmed the report by the German authorities. In a Der Spiegel interview, Navalny told that Russian President Vladimir Putin was behind his suspected poisoning. Following the interview, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied any involvement in the incident. He also accused Navalny of working for the Central Intelligence Agency. Further, he also pointed out that Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin had said earlier that Navalny worked with Western intelligence.

However, there is no concrete evidence to confirm whether Navalny has links with the CIA.
