His security will continue to remain Z class in other states.The Union Home Ministry issued an order to upgrade the security services of BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya after his convoy was pelted with stones in West Bengal. He is in charge of BJP affairs in the eastern state. The Z+ security will include a bulletproof SUV to ensure travel safety in the sensitive areas for campaigning and other political activities in West Bengal ahead of assembly elections in 2021. Nearly 70 CISF commandos will provide security to the leader under the upgraded security arrangements around the clock apart from two personal security officers during his travel and stay in West Bengal. He has been provided with Z class security since 2019.
