PM Chung Se Kyun and health authorities have confirmed that the violators with their permission will be monitored by an electronic wristband.Yonhap News Agency reported that the South Korean Prime Minister during a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures on April 11, 2020, informed that the government had decided to use the electronic wristbands on people who violate self-isolation rules after they saw a rise in the violation by self-quarantined people who went outside without notice and some of them would not even answer the phone calls made by the concerned health officials. Health officials too confirmed that they will start using the wristbands with the permission of the violators.
