At least 16 MLA's from the Gehlot government in Rajasthan are supporting Sachin Pilot.

A meeting was held by sixteen MLA's at ITC Grand Bharat in Haryana's Gurugram to support Sachin Pilot.

A meeting was held by sixteen MLA's at ITC Grand Bharat in Haryana's Gurugram to support Sachin Pilot.Sachin Pilot released a video to show that at least sixteen MLA's are supporting him after the Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot had a legislative meeting with other MLAs. It was a 10-second video that had been shared from the official Whatsapp group of Pilot. In the video, the MLA's were seen sitting together in a close circle, including Rajasthan Congress MLAs Inder Raj Gurjar, PR Meena, GR Khatana, and Harish Meena at a hotel in Manesar. The same video had been posted by Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh, who tweeted it with the hashtag 'Family.'

Previously, Sachin Pilot had claimed that he had the support of 30 MLA's from the Ashok Gehlot led Congress government in Rajasthan. The video of his meeting with the 16 MLA's strengthened his argument that he has the backing of MLA's of the Gehlot government, where Mr. Pilot was a Deputy Chief Minister.

On July 14, the Congress Party officially removed Sachin Pilot from the party. He had reportedly snubbed multiple meetings organized by the Chief Minister to sort out their differences. Sachin Pilot held on to his demand of being made the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, which the Congress Party repeatedly refused.
