A tweet by Mansehra Police officials regarding the viral video disproves the claim that it is of from India because it is of Pakistan origin.A video with the caption that some Muslims in India were punished by the police for violating the coronavirus lockdown has been circulated on social media, which has also been uploaded on YouTube.

A person from Pakistan had tweeted the same video on 29 March 2020, stating that that kind of punishment was disgraceful. He has also tagged some of the Abbottabad authorities in the tweet.

Pakistan's Mansehra Police has responded to the tweet on 30 March 2020 by saying that they had issued a notice regarding the incident and that the investigation was ongoing. There is no mention of coronavirus by any officials.

Hence it proves that the video is from Pakistan and not from India.
