Rapper Tory Lanez - real name Daystar Peterson - is accused of shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion several times at her feet and wounding her.Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has been charged with shooting American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, it happened after the pair got into an argument while riding in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills on Jul. 12. Lanez was also charged with carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

On Oct. 8, Lanez was issued a protective order ruling that he cannot contact or come within 100 yards of Stallion. The charges included assault with a semi-automatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The arraignment of Lanez was postponed from Oct. 13 until November. The hearing was postponed to Nov. 18, according to a court spokesperson.
