Rapper Tory Lanez - real name Daystar Peterson - is accused of shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion several times at her feet and wounding her.
On Oct. 8, Lanez was issued a protective order ruling that he cannot contact or come within 100 yards of Stallion. The charges included assault with a semi-automatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The arraignment of Lanez was postponed from Oct. 13 until November. The hearing was postponed to Nov. 18, according to a court spokesperson.
